A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire, Gautier Capuçon has built an exceptional international career spanning more than two decades, performing on the world’s most prestigious stages, recording acclaimed albums, and collaborating with leading orchestras across the globe. What truly sets him apart, however, is his passion for sharing music and making classical music accessible to everyone.

An extraordinary career

Over the years, he has become one of the leading figures of French culture.

Today, Gautier Capuçon is:

🎻 An internationally acclaimed cellist with over 20 years at the forefront of the classical music scene
☀️ The creator of the free travelling festival Un Été en France
🎼 The founder of the Fondation Louis Vuitton Excellence Class
📺 A jury member on the TV show Prodiges on France 2, helping bring classical music into the modern cultural conversation
🏔️ The artist behind Gaïa, his latest album released in November 2025, inspired by nature and his Savoyard roots

Through his talent, international influence, and dedication to making culture accessible to all, Gautier Capuçon perfectly embodies French excellence.

Today, this remarkable journey brings him to Grévin.
