ARTICLE 1. INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “GTC") apply in their entirety as of 
01 January 2025, to all activities and services organized within the Musée Grévin (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") and sold to individual customers (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer(s)") by MUSEE GREVIN (hereinafter referred to as the “Vendor").


The GTC govern any sale of Services conducted at the ticket office of Musée Grévin or online through the Musée Grévin website www.grevin-paris.com (the "Website"). 


The Seller offers Clients (i) entertainment, show, and leisure Services in the form of free visits to the Musée Grévin sold as simple or combined ticketing and (ii) any other ancillary services(catering,shop,etc).


For the purposes of the GTC: the term “Access Pass” refers to a ticket or package allowing the Client to undertake a free visit to the Musée Grévin on a specific date or during a specified period; “Package” refers to a ticket allowing a free visit to the Musée Grévin, coupled with a product or service from a partner; “Voucher” refers to a certificate exchangeable for a Service organized and sold by the Seller or for a service organized by a partner and sold by the Seller on behalf of the partner.Any purchase of the aforementioned Services implies the Client’s unreserved acceptance of the GTC, notwithstanding any contrary stipulation.
 

ARTICLE 2. IDENTIFICATION OF THE VENDOR

The Services covered by these GTC are organized and sold to Clients by:

ARTICLE 3. SERVICE ORDERS

A purchase of Services (hereinafter referred to as the "Order") for Access Passes and Packages can be made:
- At the Seller’s ticket office located at 10 Boulevard Montmartre – 75009 Paris, every day of the year, except during exceptional closures,
o online through the Website accessible at www.grevin-paris.com.
A Client may not reserve more than nineteen (19) Access Passes/Packages per Order, regardless of the acquisition method of the said tickets. Every Order must include the selected Services, the date or period of performance, and the number and age of the beneficiaries.

3.1. Online order

For any online Order, the Client is invited to provide their email address and, if applicable, to identify themselves using a personal customer account creation form. In accordance with the provisions of Article 1369-5 of the French Civil Code, the Client has the opportunity to verify the details of their Order and its total price and, if necessary, to correct any errors before confirming the Order, thereby expressing their acceptance. To finalize the Order, the Client must review the GTC, accept them by checking the corresponding box, and proceed with payment as provided in Article 5. The Order is considered firm and final only when the full price has been received by the Seller. The sales contract is then deemed to be concluded. For any online Order of Services, the Client will receive, by email, a confirmation of the Order summarizing the purchases made, the price applied, and the essential characteristics of the Services ordered. The confirmation email includes :


- a debit note detailing the ordered Services,


- The dematerialized Access Pass(es), and/or if applicable, Vouchers for the Packages.


The confirmation email serves as proof of the entire transaction in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 2000-230 of March 13, 2000, and constitutes the only document admissible in case of a dispute.

ARTICLE 4. SERVICE PRICING

The applicable rates indicated on the communication media and the Seller’s Website are expressed in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC). Generally, unless otherwise specified, personal expenses, dossier fees, and insurance are not included in the price of the Services.

4.1. Access passes for Free Visits 


The price of an Access Pass includes, at a minimum, a visit to the Musée Grévin for one adult or one child (aged 5 to 18 inclusive) on the date or within the validity period specified on the ticket. Children up to four (4) years old are granted free entry to the Musée Grévin. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

4.2. Vouchers
The Vouchers for Packages must be used on the same day as the visit to the Musée Grévin.
 

ARTICLE 5. TERMS AND METHODS OF PAYMENT

For any Order of Services, the full price must be paid in one installment and in euros at the time of placing the Order.

5.1. Cash/Holiday vouchers/Gift vouchers


For Orders made at the ticket office, the Client may pay with a gift voucher, holiday voucher, or in cash. Payments in cash by Clients with tax residency in France are limited to €1,000 per Order in accordance with Articles L 112-6 and D.112-3 of the French Monetary and Financial Code. The holiday or gift voucher must be valid at the time of purchase, and the Musée Grévin must appear as a partner reference on the voucher issuer. The Seller does not give change on holiday/gift vouchers.

5.2. Credit card 


For Orders made online or at the ticket office, Clients may pay by credit card. Unless otherwise specified during the Order, only credit cards from CARTE BLEUE/VISA and EUROCARD/MASTERCARD networks are accepted. The Client's bank account will be debited for the Order amount upon final validation of the Order. For Orders at the ticket office, a payment receipt is immediately provided to the Client upon payment. For online Orders, the payment receipt is automatically available to the Client at the end of the Order, on the confirmation page, and in the Client's account created on the Seller’s Website. 

5.3. Bank check


Only bank checks drawn on a bank account opened in France and made payable to the Seller are accepted. Customers choosing this payment method must present a valid ID for any Order placed at the ticket office.

5.4. Payment security


Electronic payments for online Orders on the Seller's Website are secured by encryption technology ensuring confidentiality and security of the data.
 

ARTICLE 6. ISSUANCE OF ENTRANCE TICKETS AND VOUCHERS

For any Order placed at the ticket office, the Customer immediately receives thermal Access Titles and Vouchers for the Packages. For online Orders, dematerialized Access Titles (E-tickets) and Vouchers are sent by email immediately after payment.

ARTICLE 7. ENTRANCE TICKET AND VOUCHER INSPECTION

7.1. Access Title

 
A dated Access Title is only valid for the date(s) indicated on it. An undated Access Title does not guarantee access to the Museum in case of high attendance. The control of Access Titles is carried out at the entrance of the Musée Grévin using barcode readers. In this context, the Seller reserves the right to also check the identity of Customers holding Access Titles and their eligibility for discounts.


A Customer with a dematerialized Access Title (E-ticket) may directly access the ordered Service. The dematerialized Access Title (E-ticket) is only valid if printed on white, blank paper on both sides or displayed on a mobile phone screen, such as a smartphone. The Customer remains solely responsible for the use of their Access Title(s). A damaged Access Title (thermal or dematerialized), with an unreadable or already scanned barcode, is considered invalid.

7.2. Voucher


The Voucher is only valid if printed on white, blank paper on both sides and readable. It is always nominative and only valid for the person(s) designated.
Any Customer holding a Voucher must present themselves at the location indicated in the Order confirmation, with a valid photo ID, in order to receive a final title or directly access the ordered Service.
 

ARTICLE 8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

For any online purchase of an undated Access Ticket, the Client benefits, in accordance with Article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code and the transposition into French law of European Directive 2011/83/EU, from a fourteen (14) day withdrawal period starting from the receipt of the order confirmation email. To withdraw, the Client must notify their decision of withdrawal before the expiration of the aforementioned period by means of a clear and unambiguous statement, for example by using the withdrawal form available HERE, and also available on www.grevin-paris.com, and sent to the following address: MUSEE GREVIN, 10 Boulevard Montmartre – 75009 Paris, France. Without prejudice to the above and in accordance with the provisions of Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the distance purchase of services related to "accommodation, transport, catering, leisure," ordered as a package or separately for a specific date or period. Therefore, the Client does not benefit from a withdrawal period for dated Access Ticket Orders.

ARTICLE 9. EXCHANGE AND CANCELLATION

9.1. At the Client's Initiative


Access Tickets for free visit, Packages, and ancillary services are neither refundable, exchangeable, nor modifiable.

9.2. At the Seller's Initiative


In the event that the Seller is forced to cancel or modify a fundamental element of any of the Services ordered by the Client, the Client has the right to refuse the proposed modification and to obtain a full refund of the price of the Services ordered.
 

ARTICLE 10. LIABILITY

The Seller is responsible for the proper execution of the Services ordered under the conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions. The Seller, who is only under an obligation of means with respect to online sales, cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent to the use of the Internet, such as a service disruption, external intrusion, or the presence of computer viruses, and generally any other event expressly recognized as a force majeure by case law. The Seller cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible in case of loss or theft of Access Tickets, Vouchers, or the Client’s personal belongings that have not been deposited in a designated area. The Seller is solely responsible for determining the operating and maintenance conditions of the Musée Grévin, based on its needs and/or constraints, and alone decides (i) the opening schedule and hours for public access to the Musée Grévin; (ii) the services and attractions offered and their conditions of use; (iii) the prices and sale conditions for the Services offered to the public at the Musée Grévin; (iv) the maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and renovation programs for any or all equipment; (v) the implementation of standards and rules concerning, notably, the safety and health of individuals and property at the Musée Grévin. The Seller may, at its discretion, decide to close the public access to all or part of the Musée Grévin for as long as necessary, notably for the purpose of carrying out safety works, maintenance, repair, or renovation of the Musée Grévin’s equipment, or in the event of a force majeure compelling the Seller to close the Musée Grévin fully or partially.

ARTICLE 11. FORCE MAJEURE

In the event that the performance of the Seller’s obligations is delayed or hindered, in whole or in part, due to the occurrence of a force majeure event as defined by Article 1218 of the Civil Code, the Seller will inform the Client by any means. In the case of force majeure, the Seller’s obligations are automatically suspended without any liability incurred. However, the Seller may offer the Client an alternative date for the affected Services.

ARTICLE 12. PROOF, PRESERVATION AND ARCHIVING

In accordance with Article L.213-1 of the Consumer Code, for any online order placed on the Seller’s website for an amount equal to or greater than €120, the Seller shall retain a written record of the Client’s order for a period of ten (10) years from the delivery date and guarantees the Client access to this record at any time during this period.

ARTICLE 13. TERMINATION CLAUSE

Except in cases of force majeure as defined in Article 11 of the Terms and Conditions, if the Seller fails to deliver the Services by the date or within the time agreed upon with the Client, the Client may terminate the contract by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by written communication on any other durable medium if, after having given the Seller a reasonable additional time to deliver the Services and the Seller has not fulfilled its obligations within that time. The contract will be considered terminated upon receipt by the Seller of the letter or written communication informing them of this termination unless the Seller fulfills its obligations in the meantime. However, the Client may immediately terminate the contract if the Seller refuses to deliver the Services or fails to deliver them by the date or within the time agreed upon, where that date or time is essential to the Client, based on circumstances surrounding the contract’s formation or an explicit request made by the Client before the contract’s formation (Article L216-2 of the Consumer Code).

ARTICLE 14. COMPLAINTS

Any complaint regarding the booking or execution of the Services must be addressed to the Seller's Complaints Service (MUSEE GREVIN, 10 Boulevard Montmartre – 75009 PARIS) by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within twenty (20) days of the performance of the Services, along with all supporting documents (Access Tickets, Vouchers) (i) issued to the Client as part of their Order and (ii) proving the validity of the claim (medical certificate, photographs, police report) without which the claim will not be processed. For online orders, complaints can also be submitted via the Seller’s website (under the “Contact” section). Any Client who does not receive a satisfactory response to their complaint within sixty (60) days after submitting it to the Seller's Complaints Service may seek mediation free of charge through the Tourism and Travel Mediator according to the procedures outlined on www.mtv.travel (MTV Médiation Tourisme Voyage – Service Deposit of Cases – CS 30958 - 75383 PARIS cedex 08) within one (1) year from the date of the written complaint filed with the Seller. Clients can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform available at: Online Dispute Resolution | European Commission (europa.eu).

ARTICLE 15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The Seller’s website is subject to French copyright and intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, of trademarks, logos, or distinctive signs from the website without the express written permission of the Seller is prohibited under Article L713-2 of the Intellectual Property Code.

ARTICLE 16. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The company Compagnie des Alpes (RCS Paris 349 577 908) and Musée Grévin (a subsidiary of Compagnie des Alpes) act as joint controllers for the processing of personal data related to the marketing and operation of the Musée Grévin’s products and services. These processes are described in the privacy policy available at https://www.grevin-paris.com/mentions-legales and at the museum’s reception. In accordance with personal data protection laws, you have the right to access, rectify, oppose, limit the processing, and delete your personal data, which you can exercise by contacting our Data Protection Officer via this formhttps://datalegaldrive.com/ed/exercer/formulaire_exercice/museegrevin, by email at privacy@grevin.com, or by mail to Musée Grévin, Data Protection Service, 10 Boulevard Montmartre – PARIS (75009).
 

ARTICLE 17. DISPUTES

All sales of Services made by the Client under these Terms and Conditions are subject to French law. In accordance with Article L.211-3 of the Consumer Code, in case of any dispute regarding the validity, interpretation, or execution of the Terms and Conditions, the Client may seek free mediation in accordance with the provisions of Articles L.611-1 and following of the Consumer Code or any other alternative dispute resolution method. The Client is informed of the possibility of mediation through the Tourism and Travel Mediator according to the procedures outlined on www.mtv.travel (MTV Médiation Tourisme Voyage – Service Deposit of Cases – CS 30958 – 75383 PARIS cedex 08) within one year from the written complaint submitted to the Seller. If no amicable resolution is reached, the dispute can be brought before the competent French court. Clients can also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at : Online Dispute Resolution | European Commission (europa.eu).
